Living in NYC, there is no lack of incredible restaurants to scope out for a celebration dinner—especially an anniversary. On the tip of a few friends, we decided to check out Marc Forgione in TriBeCa for ours.

Starting the night, we started off with some warm potato bread and split the Chili Lobster with Texas Toast — an impressive looking bowl with the carbs to match, soaking up all the brothy goodness you can take.

Next up was the Swordfish with Hash Browns, Sea Bean, Purslane, Asparagus, Lemon Verbena Bearnaise. An epic start to the evening—but nothing compared to the main event, the real reason we were so jazzed to check our MF to begin with!

Drumroll please… say hello to Chicken Under a Brick—with Yukon Gold Potatoes, Broccoli Rabe, Pan Drippings is a piece of art in itself (let alone decadent for such an occasion). Arriving at the table, sizzling with flavor and excitement, this sharable plate was a real winner—perfect to celebrate an anniversary.
