Bushwick: Bunker Vietnamese

A late night stroll through Bushwick this week had us seeking a new adventurous dinner spot in the neighborhood to test our tastebuds — enter Bunker.

“Bunker is about sharing our passion for the street and homestyle Vietnamese food on which our family was raised. We are ingredient driven and always look to source the finest of quality to elevate every dish we make,” according to their website.

“Here, we are fam; and we want you to feel at home in our “street to table” vibe, while enjoying the Food, Art, and Music that we love and create.”

The Vietnamese eatery boasted a colorful menu in addition to the newly expanded location (after making the move from Ridgewood, Brooklyn). Here’s a look at the inspired meal we enjoyed at the new digs.

GỎI CUỐN / SUMMER ROLLS — Wild prawn, sliced pork belly, vermicelli, herbs and peanut sauce.

BÁNH XÈO / VIETNAMESE PANCAKE — Heritage pork belly, wild prawn, bean sprout, lettuce, herbs.
